More old video

I've found some more old video of Ava. This was taken a year ago, when she was so itty bitty and we didn't know how things were going to turn out.
Its like 7min long so you don't have to watch the whole thing. But there is a part where it looks like its done but its not so just be patient. I haven't figured out how to edit just yet.

So after almost 2 years of having my camcorder I've finally figured out how to download video to my computer. So I'm going to test it out and see if I can get it posted here too.
I've got some old video of Ava. She was only like 4 or 5 months here and we were getting her acquinted with Crackers.

Ava's Birthday party

Yesterday we had Ava's birthday party. She didn't quite know what to think of all the people at her house, but she quickly got use to them and had fun. Of course the best part was opening presents.

Avalyn's First Birthday

Its hard to believe its already been a year. It seems like just yesterday that lil Ava was being flown to a NICU and we were unsue of what was to come. But our lil mircale baby is a fighter and now she's as perfect as can be and the doctor and PAT parent educator say she's developmently advance and is doing things that some 14month olds can' t do.

So on Wednesday April 11 we celebrated her big day with a cupcake. As you can tell she loved it.

On Friday we took Ava for her one year check up. She only weighs 18lb. 7oz and 29in. Our lil peanut. She didn't gain as much weight as she usually does just because I think she's been walking for awhile and so busy and into everything. The doctor said she's following her curve and is very healthy so nothing to worry about.

Easter

Ava had a pretty good Easter. Since it was so cold out and she was suffering from a cold she didn't get to hunt easter eggs outside, but she still got a lot of goodies from the grandparents.

Uncle Joe got Ava her own chair for when she goes to the Highland games. And she's also showing off her new shoes Aunt Debbie got her. She loves shoes!

Playing dress up

My friend Melanie runs a daycare where a photographer comes in, dresses the kids up and takes pictures. Of course Ava's stranger anxiety kicked into high mode when we took her up to get her picture taken, but we still managed to get a cute picture.

Easter bunny

Ava went and visited the Easter Bunny this week. While she wasn't fully impressed him him we were just happy she didn't cry. As you remember she did not like Santa at all. So we were pretty happy with the picture. Ava is wearing her Easter dress that her Grandma Sharon made her.

Baby shower

A couple weeks ago Ava and my mom and I went to visit some cousins in Carthage, Ill for a baby shower. My cousin and his wife had a beautiful lil girl Audra. My cousin had taken this pics while we were there.
